The Challenge
In one of Melbourne’s most iconic apartment complexes, we transformed our client’s newly purchased residence with a fresh, sophisticated update. The main living area was repainted, recarpeted, and adorned with soft window furnishings to enhance warmth and comfort. Her beloved sofas and dining chairs were remodelled and reupholstered, while selected new pieces completed the space.
In the bedrooms, bespoke bedheads, cushions, and window treatments were designed and custom-made to complement the refreshed aesthetic and our client’s colour preferences.
To ensure a seamless transition, our team assisted her in selling and donating excess furniture and collectibles before carefully incorporating cherished pieces into her beautifully refurbished home.

And we did! Over 6 months, and through total lockdown in 2020, Kym Lackmann and her team guided me in my massive downsizing from the family home to a 3 bedroom apartment. They sourced fabrics for re-upholstering furniture, making blinds, curtains and bedheads, most meetings with me being on Zoom! No task was too menial, from help with buying valances and throws to ordering Italian outdoor furniture. Kym advised me on selling and donating items and collections, and arranged the packing up of the house and large wine cellar.
I could not have managed this daunting project without Kym and her team, and the end result: The ‘wow’ factor I was craving!
